How to Enable Remote Assistance on Windows Vista

1-Click the Windows "Start" menu and right-click "Computer." Scroll down the pop-up menu and click "Properties." A new window launches.

2-Locate the "Remote Settings" link in the left pane and click it. This launches the System Properties dialog box.

3-Click the "Allow Remote Assistant connections to this computer" check-box. Click the "Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop" if you want to connect from an XP computer.

4-Click "Apply" to save the changes and click "OK."
